Meet Shawn Hern
Shawn has more than 15 years of progressive leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, and healthcare operations, he bring a wealth of expertise in training, mentoring, and guiding the next generation of senior living professionals. Throughout his career, he have successfully led multi-site senior living communities, driving occupancy growth, maintaining regulatory compliance, and achieving strong financial outcomes.
As a Caregiver and Manager Instructor, he is passionate about equipping caregivers and leaders with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to excel in providing compassionate, high-quality care. His teaching approach combines real-world experience with best practices in compliance, operations, and resident engagement, ensuring students are fully prepared to meet the demands of the industry.
Phlebotomy Instructor
Meet Mirielle Begay
Mirelle Begay brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience and a lifelong dedication to improving patient care. She began her career as a Phlebotomist and has spent the past decade in healthcare leadership and management roles. Despite her administrative experience, Mirelle remains passionate about direct patient care and is committed to training and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals through phlebotomy education. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico.

Homecare Programs
Caregivers 2 Assist LLC’s Homecare Program, funded by Medicaid, allows individuals to choose their own caregiver, including family members.
