The Caregiver Certification Program is a state-approved training required by the NCIA Board for individuals who want to work as certified caregivers in assisted living homes or facilities. The program includes classroom instruction, hands-on training, and competency testing.
Arizona requires 62 hours of training:
50 hours of classroom instruction
12 hours of supervised skills training
Anyone who is at least 18 years old, able to read, and speak fluent English, and interested in caring for elderly or disabled individuals can enroll. No previous experience is required.
Yes. Caregivers 2 Assist is a licensed training program, and our curriculum meets all requirements set by the NCIA Board for caregiver certification in Arizona.
